This documentary is part of a flagship series ” Freedom’s Battles,” which returns to Eastern Europe to see if the series of revolutions in the late 80s did indeed transform the world and lead to the fulfilment of the strong hopes of freedom.
The film returns to Poland, an icebreaker of the Communism system. But it discovers that in the Gdansk shipyards where it all began, the workers are disillusioned with the difficulties of transformation process and the post communist reality that emerged for which they risked their lives.
